FloJo’s B’nB Rotorua

We stayed at FloJo’s bed and breakfast in Rotorua. What a charming spot! As with all internet bookings you don’t know what you are going to get and often the pretty pictures supplied on the website can be very misleading. But this was no disappointment at all.

Our hosts Floss and John were superb. Full of information about the town and recommendations on where the best eating and activities could be found. John even gave us a personal tour of the town on the day that we checked in. Great for orientation and to kick start your adventuring. Our yummy daily breakfast was served up regardless of our varying time requests.

The cottage and garden were filled with colourful bits and pieces from all over the world (even a mini beaded SA flag which was quite cool for us!). A vegetable garden sits round the corner and Dora the cat skulks around keeping an eye on you. Benches and table &chair sets around the garden invite you to take advantage of the fresh air. Many hours were spent happily reading a book in the garden.

A beautiful spot only a couple of kilometres from the centre of town. Will happily go back there again for the great service and to have another long chat with the friendly hosts.
